Hey! October 4, 2010
So we just found out about transfers. I will be staying as an Office Elder. Probably for a few more transfers....then our area Molo, will be split in half. The area is super small already and now they are going to split it in half. We talked with our Bishop about it and me and Booth will take the center of Molo which we kind of pretty much walk around in 30 minutes. So our area is going to be super small. It will be really awesome though.
This week is transfer week, and it is already been way busy. We will get 20 new American missionaries this next week. It is going to be crazy. Pretty much everyone in the mission is training.
Yesterday Eva was confirmed as a member of the church. And the day before that she was baptized by her son. It was amazing seeing Dave baptize his mother. They are such a awesome little family. Dave says that he wants to go on a mission somewhere where the people are super hardheaded, so it will be hard.
Before the baptism we had a church tour that turned out really well. Our ward missionaries invited friends and potential investigators to attend the church tour and then the baptism. Our ward missionaries are awesome and brought about 10 investigators.
Also a man in our ward, Brother Pancho came up to us yesterday at church with his son in law and said to us that his son in law, Jelon needed to be baptized. Jelon was sitting right there the whole time probably thinking...who knows what, while Brother Pancho told him he needed to listen to us. Then he turned to us and in English and said, "He is a golden investigator". When can you teach him....so we set up an appointment for later today. We are excited to talk to him.
Well I just want everyone to know things are going great for me here. Just trying to be the best missionary the Lord wants me to be. I love you all so much and love hearing from you. Sorry I wasn't able to email everyone back but I will as soon as I can. Love you all again.
