Wk 20
Hey!
It’s been a nice and relaxing week this week. Really alot didn't happen. My comp has been sick since I got here. He has had LBM and we just found out the other day he has an Ameba. Then on Friday after we did our CSP at a less active members house fixing their roof, I came down with a fever. So both of us have been out for quite a while. I've been in bed for the past two days. It’s been a good time to reflect on life. I had my comp give me a blessing yesterday, Sunday and I got better just in time for P-Day! I don't think I am completely better but my temperature has gone down.
The work here in Molo is a little bit slow right now because of that. But I am excited to get it going. The ward here is awesome. We just need to set some good goals and get well and we will be spreading the Gospel once again.
There is one other American elder with me in the apartment. The rest are Filipino. When all the Filipinos get together, they don't even speak Illango they speak Tagalog so it’s not that big of a help with the language.
I am not sure if there are American sisters in Iloilo city. I know there are Pina's though.
Our address is something along the lines of : Baluarte street. There’s a Gas Station and a Supermart. We live in a place called PLDT compound or something.
It sounds like there are a lot of parties at the Kirschbaum house. I bet Josh was the one to get you to make pizza. That a boy. I miss good pizza. I went for the first time today to a pizza restaurant called Greenwich. I had one slice of this really weird burger pizza with big slices of onion. It was pretty grosh. I mean gross.
I am going to keep is short today. Talk to ya'll later.
-Elder Kirschbaum
