ReplyDeleteHEY!!! So I finally have a chance to write from the MTC! Today is our P-Day so as we are doing laundry we get to write home and write letters.
So HEY! The MTC is ridiculous! As soon as I got out of the car it was like wham bam here and there. It was cool having Caleb show me around and getting me orientated. It was unreal actually being in the MTC. I kind of felt bad that our goodbye was so fast! It was super fast! So if I didn't tell you I love you...Well I do. I love you so much and I am so thankful for what you have taught me and raised me to be.
So it is day four...I think...at the MTC. These last four days have really been a blur. We wake up at 6:00 instead of 6:30 every morning. Yeah that’s right! I can wake up early. Our companionship decided to wake up a half an hour earlier than we are supposed to. After we get ready in the morning it is classes, classes, lunch, classes, classes, study non stop! The first couple of days it was really tough. It was tough because the suit I wear is sooo hot, and my shoes are really hot.
So basically the MTC is really busy and has been stressful, but I am learning that if I have faith in the Lord he will bless us to achieve the things he asks us to do. Kind of like 1 Nephi 3:7. I have never really had to trust in him this much. But there is so much to do and so little time.
So my companions are pretty sweet. I have two companions. Elder Ashby is an older guy 21. He is a really nice and a strong spirited guy. Elder Hill is my other companion from Orem. I had to teach him how to do the laundry and write letters. Good thing I learned how to do that just before I left ;). He has really missed his family. He is a really great guy. He is good at teaching the family part of the PMG lessons because of how much he loves his family. I'm good at teaching that part too ;). I really do miss you guys. I just haven't had time to think about anything.
I was made district leader the other day. It is cool.
I have been working on leading the other missionaries by good example...I guess.
Our district is really small. It is only my mga casamas and one other casamas and then a sister casamas. So there are three companionships in our district total. It has been cool though. We all get along. The other companionship is really funny. Elder Ellsworth knows everything about the language already and he teaches the football kid, Elder Runia. All of us are from Utah Valley except Elder Ellsworth. So we all pretty much know each other already.
I quickly learned that packages and letters are the only form of love and comfort we get here.
I love you guys so much and miss you. I hope all is going well. Talk to you soon. Oh and I don't get to call home on Christmas...sorry.
Ingat!
